Tembec's consolidated sales for the three-month period ended June 25, 2016 , were C$376 million ($289 million), as compared to C$365 million ($281 million) in the same quarter a year ago, the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Tembec generated net earnings of C$9 million ($6.9 million) in the June 2016 quarter compared to a net loss of C$16 million ($12.3 million) in the June 2015 quarter.

Operating earnings before depreciation, amortization and other items (adjusted EBITDA) was C$26 million ($20 million) for the three-month period ended June 25, 2016, as compared to adjusted EBITDA of C$2 million ($1.5 million) a year ago and adjusted EBITDA of C$36 million ($27.7 million) in the prior quarter.
