The Schumacher Packaging Group has acquired a majority interest in Konverdi GmbH and Konverdi Copacking GmbH in Germany. The co-packing and service specialist in Lehrte will operate under the names of Schumacher Packaging Services GmbH and Schumacher Copacking Services GmbH.
With at present 70 employees and an annual turnover of around Euro 10 million, Konverdi serves renowned brand manufacturers from all sectors, including food, cosmetics and consumer goods.
Despite the takeover and name change, all jobs will be retained. In addition, Michael Marquardt, the previous owner and Managing Director of Konverdi, will continue to manage the company as a co-shareholder.
The famous co-packing and service specialist will complement the comprehensive offer of solutions of Schumacher Packaging with co-packing services based on long experience.
