The forestry company Tornator has received an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) certificate for its forests in Estonia. The forest management certificate covers all of Tornator's forests in Estonia, totalling some 50,000 hectares, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Tornator Eesti OÜ's forests had already been certified to the national PEFC standard (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification).

Tornator started preparing for certification in the spring of 2015. Certification auditors NEPCon awarded an FSC certificate to the company on 18 November 2016.
