David (Dave) King has been appointed Area President of Valmet's North America area as of 15 November, 2016. He will be a member of Valmet's Executive Team and report to President and CEO Pasi Laine, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
David King is currently employed at Valmet as Senior Vice President, Pulp and Energy, North America. During his career David has gained vast leadership experience in several management positions covering services, sales and business development in Valmet, Metso and ABB.
William (Bill) Bohn, the current Area President, North-America has decided to retire in March, 2017.
Valmet is the leading global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries.
