Aug 11, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Voith Paper said that it will supply a woodfree coated paper machine to Japan-based Oji Paper Company's new mill in China. The new machine, PM 1, will be installed in Oji Paper's new pulp and paper mill complex, which is under construction in Nantong, China, in the Jiangsu province near Shanghai.
The 8,200 mm wire width machine will have a capacity of 400.000 tons per year. Voith said it will build the complete production line from the stock preparation up to the rewind—all designed according to Voith's One Platform Concept. Start-up is expected in mid 2010, Voith said.
