Weyerhaeuser Company completes the sale of North Pacific Paper Company, the company's printing papers business, to an affiliate of One Rock Capital Partners, LLC.
The transaction includes the printing papers mill located in Longview, Washington. Weyerhaeuser expects to use a substantial portion of the after-tax proceeds for the repayment of debt. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Weyerhaeuser Company, one of the world's largest private owners of timberlands, began operations in 1900.
