Wood Component Manufacturers names Steve Waltman to Board

The Wood Components Manufacturers Association named Steve Waltman, VP Sales and Marketing with Stiles Machinery, to serve on the WCMA board as the ex officio Technology Partner Representative. Waltman will serve a two year term and will help inform the board on issues important to Technology Partners, as Woodworking Network reported. 

The WCMA Technology Partnership program connects manufacturers and importers of woodworking machinery and business solutions to meet with wood products manufacturing members and educate them on the latest advancements in their products and services.

Waltman joined Stiles more than 30 years ago as a salesman and was promoted to Vice President in spring, 1989. He is credited with expanding Stiles’ sales and marketing team, increasing their access to sophisticated sales tools, and streamlining internal processes to help improve customer satisfaction.

Waltman has served on the board of directors for the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI), the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals (ACSP), the Association for Retail Environments (ARE), and the Window and Door Manufacturer’s Association (WDMA).
