Wood Material Colloquium

Cross-border wood-based products from Germany and Europe set international standards in terms of properties, health and resource efficiency. This is made possible by the constant innovation pressure of both the users and the manufacturers themselves as well as the mechanical engineers. For a long time now, the wood-based panel industry has not only moved within its industry itself but relies on technological encroachments in biotechnology and bionics, in the chemical industry and also in the paper industry. The 12th Wood Materials Colloquium addresses this horizontal technology approach for the production and functionalization of wood-based panels and calls for the discussion of new developments in the fields of materials, technologies as well as environment and health under the motto "Crossing borders".
