Khabarovsk International Fair Exhibition Company (Khabarovsk) and RESTEC® Exhibition Company (Saint-Petersburg) have the pleasure to invite you to take part in the main forestry event of the Far Eastern region - the 7th International Specialized Exhibition TEKHNODREV the Far East 2013 will take place in Khabarovsk on April 24-27, 2013. The exhibition TEKHNODREV the Far East is a significant event for the forestry in the region; it demonstrates traditionally advanced technologies and developments in the forestry sector, thus contributing to modernization of enterprises and promoting innovation and competitiveness of Russian forestry products. More than 100 companies from Russia, Italy, Austria, France, Japan, Germany, China, Slovenia, and Finland participate in this exhibition each year, displaying technology, equipment, machines and tools for woodworking, logging, production of furniture, and bioenergetics. The exposition is located on two show floors: an extensive exposition in the exhibition hall and outdoor show floor to demonstrate operation of different machines: harvesters, forwarders, skidders and other logging equipment, machines, sawmills, hand tools. In 2012, the exhibition was visited by more than 4,500 experts representing forestry enterprises of the Far East and other regions of Russia, and other countries. The scientific program of the exhibition with its central event, an industry conference INCREASING EFFICIENCY OF USE OF FOREST RESOURCES IN THE FAR EAST will provide unlimited opportunities for communication of professionals. The conference is supported by the Forestry Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Khabarovsk Territory. This event will be held on the exhibition opening day on April 24 from 10.00 to 17.00 in the conference hall of the venue. The conference will address key aspects of forestry development of the Far East in the following areas: SESSION 1. Forestry of the Far East. General characteristics and development trends. The following topics will be discussed in the session: Forestry of the Far Eastern Federal District - problems and prospects, investment attractiveness of the region, projects implemented and proposed for implementation. SESSION 2. Government support measures for forestry sector development in Russia: priority investment projects, subsidies. Moderator of the Session: N.P. The following questions are expected to be discussed: advanced conversion of wood - development prospects; integrated utilization of wood - increasing efficiency of the advanced conversion: the matter of technology or not just technology?; features of modernization of state-of-the-art woodworking enterprises; new material types - is the industry ready for them?; how to increase the forest profitability?; sawmill by-products; maximum degree of wood conversion.
