The international specialised exhibition and demonstration of logging and road-building machinery and transport Interles: Karelia is to take place in Petrozavodsk on June 25–27, 2013

Interles: Karelia is the only Russian specialised exhibition of logging machinery and equipment for wood pre-processing allowing its participants to demonstrate their machines, machine-tools, tools and other equipment in operation in specially prepared wood areas. In 2013, the exhibition of Interles: Karelia will be attended by companies from 12 countries. The exposition will cover more than 10,000 sq.m. The demonstration zone will be about 10 hectares of prepared wood areas. The demonstrations will involve more than 100 units of equipment. Traditionally, the exhibition is held on several venues. In addition to a static exposition, there is a demonstration area, where the logging machinery, such as harvesters, forwarders, skidders, mulchers, chippers, loaders, timber carriers, road-building machinery, wood pre-processing equipment – works on all days of the exhibition. The central event of the business programme of the Interles: Karelia-2013 will be the elite STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® SERIES woodcutters show programme to be held within the framework of the exhibition for the first time in Russia! The world best woodcutters will make great display of their skills in the course of demonstration shows. It was decided to present the programme in Russia within the framework of the exhibition Interles: Karelia. According to the organisers, not only is the exhibition Interles: Karelia important as a unique demonstration zone, but its main advantages to the participants are 100% professional visitors, i.e. representatives of more than 1,500 forest-sector enterprises of the Northwest Federal District; an opportunity of efficient demonstration of novelties and notification of potential customers consuming the equipment and technologies; an opportunity to display machines and machine-tools in operation in real conditions; as well as additional opportunities for promotion within the professional community through the official guidebook of the exhibition to be distributed among the visitors of the exhibition and via the Internet. The organisers will attract the maximum possible number of professional visitors through a special buyers’ programme for top managers and profile specialists of the largest timber-industry enterprises and offer special conditions of visiting the exhibition and participation in specialised presentations and holding of business negotiations. The exhibition INTERLES: Karelia is meant to contribute to increase in sales volumes of the participating companies, expansion and development of interbranch and interregional communications, ensuring advance at the regional market of advanced technologies, cars and the equipment for timber cutting. The exhibition is attended by 60 companies manufacturing and supplying technologies and equipment for logging, forest management and primary conversion of timber.
