Altri's revenues registered in the 2Q 2017 amounted to Euro 165.4 million, up 16% compared to the same period of last year and up 3.5% compared to the 1Q 2017. EBITDA for the 2Q 2017 was Euro 47.4 million, an increase of 30.5% compared to the EBITDA recorded in the same period of 2016. EBITDA increased by 18% compared with the 1Q 2017.

Altri's 2Q revenues up 16% to Euro 165.4 million

Altri's revenues registered in the 2Q 2017 amounted to Euro 165.4 million, up 16% compared to the same period of last year and up 3.5% compared to the 1Q 2017, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

EBITDA for the 2Q 2017 was Euro 47.4 million, an increase of 30.5% compared to the EBITDA recorded in the same period of 2016. EBITDA increased by 18% compared with the 1Q 2017.

Operating costs increased by 11.5% year-on-year, slightly above the year-on-year increase in pulp sales (+ 11%). The total costs, excluding amortizations, financial costs and taxes, in the 2Q 2017 amounted to approximately Euro 118 million, which corresponds to a reduction of 1.4% compared to the 1Q 2017.

Altri consolidated net profit reached approximately Euro 24.4 million, an increase of 43% compared to the 1Q 2017 and a growth of around 62% compared to the same quarter last year.

Altri is a reference in European eucalyptus pulp producers. In addition to pulp production, the Company is also present in the renewable power production business from forest base sources namely industrial cogeneration through black liquor and biomass.
