International technology Group Andritz has been selected to upgrade the brown stock washing process in the fiberline at the Altri Group’s Celbi mill in Portugal. Start-up is scheduled for autumn 2017, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The new DD-Washer and other fiberline equipment supplied by Andritz will substantially improve the washing efficiency and increase the capacity of the hardwood fiberline.
Altri is headquartered in Porto, Portugal, and is one of the leading producers of bleached eucalyptus pulp in Europe.
