Arkhangelsk pulp and paper mill, Russia, ran through a re-certification audit

In late April 2009, Arkhangelsk pulp and paper mill, Russia, ran through a re-certification audit of the integrated management system (IMS), as former certificates have expired, the mill’s press service informed Lesprom Network. The goal of the audit is to evaluate compliance of the system with international standards (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 and its Russian equivalents). The audit was performed by Test – S.-Peterburg OJSC experts. According to Quality Management Director Maria Viktorova, the first independent audit was held at the enterprise in 2003, when quality management system was inspected. Later on, environment management system was certified (2004) as well as labor safety system (2006).
