The Pulp Mill Holding company (Vienna, Austria) has increased its share in the statutory fund of the Kyiv paper-and-cardboard plant, a large paper producer based in Obukhiv, Kyiv region, from 40.2% to 95.2%, according to Ukrainian News. The Pulp Mill Holding increased its stake on May 22. In 2005, the Kyiv paper and cardboard plant increased output in comparable prices by 5.8% or UAH 32.7 million as compared with 2004, to UAH 601.3 million. At this point, the company's production capacity is enough for the output of 200 000 tonnes of cardboard, 50 000 tonnes of consumer multicolor package, 60 000 tonnes of sanitary paper and 100 million square meters of corrugated cardboard annually. The company is the biggest wastepaper recycler on the former Soviet expanse, with a capacity to recycle about 280 000 tonnes of wastepaper every year.
