Canada increases lumber production in April 2016 by 4.7% to 5,882 thousand m3

Canada increased lumber production in April 2016 by 4.7% y-o-y to 5,882 thousand m3, Satistics Canada reported. It was 1.3% lower than in from March. Sawmills shipped 5,653 thousand m3 of lumber, down 2.3% from March, but up 4.0% from April 2015.
