The Speedmaster XL106 is an eight unit perfector press with twin coaters which has the ability to print eight colours on the board’s surface or seven colours and one on reverse. The investment, which complements the recent installation of a Bobst ExpertCut and Experfold machine at the site, will serve customers primarily in the pharma and consumer good sectors.
The investment follows extensive trials which proved it could consistently meet the exacting colour standards demanded by Chesapeake Lexington’s customer base. The press is equipped to process UV and aqueous inks and coatings.
