May 07, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Clearwater Paper Corporation announced that Thomas A. Colgrove has accepted an offer to serve as Vice President for the company’s pulp and paperboard division. Mr. Colgrove is replacing Harry Seamans who retired from the company on April 30, 2009, company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network. “Tom’s extensive career in the pulp and paper industry brings significant depth of knowledge about running, improving and growing paper operations,” said Clearwater Paper President and CEO Gordon Jones. “His expertise and institutional knowledge will add yet another level of top quality leadership to the management team of Clearwater Paper.” Mr. Colgrove most recently was senior director, family care products, for Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Neenah, Wisconsin, where he was responsible for 7 manufacturing facilities with 4,200 employees. Previous to that position, his 25 years of tenure with the company included management of numerous facilities and product lines. He also served as Vice President of manufacturing for Central Paper Company in Menasha, Wisconsin, and held management positions with Procter and Gamble Corporation. Clearwater Paper manufactures quality consumer tissue, bleached paperboard and wood products at 6 facilities across the country. The company is a premier supplier of private label tissue to major retail grocery chains, and also produces bleached paperboard used by quality-conscious printers and packaging converters.
