Combined revenue of 50 biggest Russian wood based companies increased 17.5%

In 2017, a 50 companies make it onto 9th annual ranking of Russia's largest forest based companies, published by the Russian woodworking journal Lesnaya Industriya. Taken as a group, these companies have combined revenues of 482.8 billion roubles ($5.19 billion), up 17.5% from previous ranking.

Ilim Group sits at top of the list for the 9th consecutive year. Its revenue grew a 8.9% to 111.69 billion roubles.  Mondi Syktyvkar is ranked second with revenue grew a 18.2% to 54.93 billion roubles. Segezha Group comes it at No.3. Its revenew increased a 30.45% to 43 billion roubles, reflecting the acquisition of Lesosibirskiy LDK in Krasnoyarsk region.
