In Germany (incl. the holding) sales increased significantly to Euro 83.8 million (previous year: Euro 77.7 million) due to a very positive business trend. However, it should be noted that sales of approx. Euro 2.1 million are included in this figure for the first time due to changes to the consolidated group. In the Rest of Europe, after scaling back its operation in Tienen, the sales are lower than in the previous year (Euro 33.7 million, compared to Euro 36.5 million), as expected. In the USA / Rest of the World sales increased to Euro 34.6 million (previous year: Euro 27.2 million), partly due to favorable exchange rates.
The operating result (EBIT) amounted to Euro 5 million in the reporting period (previous year: Euro 3 million) which is an increase by approx. 67%.
The income for the period amounts to Euro 2.6 million, compared to Euro 0.6 million for the first six months of 2014.
For fiscal year 2015, the Deufol Group plans sales of between Euro 295 million and Euro 315 million. Its operating result (EBITDA) should amount to between Euro 14 and 16 million.
