Gällö Timber, jointly owned by SCA and Persson Invest, introduces a new saw log assortment, Gällö Max. The assortment includes three saw logs, one short, 3.10 metres, and two long, 4.90 and 5.50 metres, as SCA Timber said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
“These log lengths are well suited for the products we are producing and our new equipment is adapted for these lengths. This makes it possible for forest owners to get a high share of saw logs and higher value when harvesting,” says Urban Wiklund, Managing Director of Gällö Timber.
