HOLTEC installs log sorting line to Pinhoser in Portugal
May 18, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. Pinhoser - Indústria de Madeiras da Serta, Lda the largest sawmill company in Portugal is investing approx. Euro 9 million to increase their cutting capacity and improve product quality, as HOLTEC said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
The contract for the new HOLTEC log sorting line was signed in the summer of 2010 and by April 2011 the project was successfully completed. This was the second log sorting line HOLTEC has installed in Portugal.
Pinhoser formed the Palser - S.A. Investimentos business group which was founded in 1984 and is mainly involved in the forestry sector. It develops its main activities which are: sawing, production and recuperation of pallets, and wooden package manufacturing in three plants.
