In 1H 2007 net income of Arkhanguelsk PPM rose 7%

Aug 08, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. In first half 2007 net income of Arkhanguelsk PPM rose 7% year-on-year to RUR 495.6 million, company reported. Revenue rose by 6.9% to RUR 5.57 billion. Revenue rose due to price increase and quality improvement by 11.8% and growth of the volume of services rendered by 2.6%, report shows. Cost of sales, works and services increased in the period by 6.3% due to inflation effects (7.1%), change of production volumes and realization (7.4%) and other factors (6.6%). Arkhanguelsk PPM realizes its production in Russia as well as abroad. In first half 2007 export amounted to 20.8% of the total, domestic sales – to 79.2%. About 70% of the export value comes from Ukraine, Hungary, Poland, China, Estonia, Italy, Germany, Turkey.
