Mar 04, 2016. /Lesprom Network/. From 1 April, Innventia will have a new organisation. Operations will be organised into two new business areas: Biorefinery & Biobased Materials and Papermaking & Packaging. At the same time, a strategic function will be set up within the bioeconomy field, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The new Business Area Directors will be Catharina Ottestam, Biorefinery & Biobased Materials, and Marco Lucisano, Papermaking & Packaging. Peter Axegård, currently in charge of Biorefining, becomes Vice President Bioeconomy Strategy.

“The new organisation, with a grouping around raw products and materials and one around applications, will give us better opportunities to meet the challenges of the industry,” says Birgitta Sundblad, President of Innventia.

As of 1 January, 2016, Innventia also has a new CFO. Her name is Anna Rungård and comes from the Karolinska University Hospital.
