Investlesprom and Segezha Packaging Group completed the purchase of 20% minority shareholding in Sacchificio Tordera S.p.a.

Feb 04, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. CJSC Investlesprom and Segezha Packaging Group have completed the purchase of the 20% minority shareholding in Sacchificio Tordera S.p.a. The Segezha Management Group now controls 100% of the business. The business will continue to trade as Sacchificio Tordera, as Segezha Packaging said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. Commenting on the purchase completion, Andrey Prokopov, CEO of Segezha Packaging Group said: “The purchase of the remaining shares in Sacchificio Tordera is a vital and strategic development for our group. We can now push forward on the future development of the important Italian sack market”. Stanislav Krivopusko, Deputy head of Legal affairs at CJSC Investlesprom states: “We all want to thank Michele Graglia and Laura Bramati for their support and participation until today and wish all of us to continue in this long story of production and tradition in the Varese plant”. Segezha Packaging provides integrated paper sack and filling solutions to five key sectors: Building materials, Human food, Chemicals & minerals, Agri-products and Waste & Recycling. The Group operates 10 manufacturing plants in Europe and Russia producing in excess of 1.2 billion sacks per year.
