James Latham completes acquisition of DLH UK

Mar 16, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. James Latham plc said that it has completed the acquisition of DLH UK Ltd., a UK based importer and trader in hardwood. For the year ended March 31, 2010, DLH UK had sales of GBP 15 million ($24.4 million), GBP 4.5 million ($7.3 million) of which was attributable to James Latham. For many years DLH UK has been a major supplier to the UK market of tropical hardwoods, particularly from Africa and Asia, and an important supplier to James Latham. James Latham said it is planning to develop the business by building on existing trading relationships with both customers and suppliers and in doing so is proposing to invest GBP 4.2 million ($6.8 million) into DLH UK to fund the development.
