KSH Solutions selected for Northern Pulp treatment facility replacement study

Northern Pulp Nova Scotia Corporation (NPNS) has selected an engineering firm to conduct preliminary engineering for design and development of the Boat Harbour effluent treatment facility replacement, including cost estimation.

KSH Solutions Inc., a Canadian consulting, engineering and contracting company based out of Montreal, will undertake the comprehensive study that will include all civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation required for construction of a new effluent facility located within Northern Pulp’s existing mill site.

Northern Pulp issued a request for proposal (RFP) in September 2016. Northern Pulp and the Province of Nova Scotia have agreed to cost-share the study which is expected to be completed in summer 2017.
