Keweenaw Land Association, Limited names Brian D. Glodowski as CEO

Keweenaw Land Association, Limited appoints Brian Glodowski, President of the Company, to the additional position of CEO, succeeding David Ayer who will continue as the non-executive Chairman of the Board, the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network. 

Mr. Glodowski has been with Keweenaw for over 20 years and has served as President of the Company since 2012. He previously oversaw the development and implementation of the log sales and marketing program until 2005, and then assumed responsibilities for the timber and land acquisition efforts prior to his promotion as Manager of Operations in 2011. Mr. Glodowski is an active member of the timberland industry, having been recently appointed to the Executive Committee of the Michigan Forest Products Council and will be serving on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Forestland Owners, based in Washington DC, beginning in 2015. Mr. Glodowski also serves on the Board of Directors for the Ironwood Industrial Development Corporation.

Mr. Ayer commented: "Brian brings outstanding management skills to Keweenaw, together with strategic and thorough understanding of the timberland industry. Keweenaw is a forest products and land management company located in Ironwood, Michigan. Keweenaw has land holdings of approximately 168,000 surface acres and over 400,000 acres of mineral rights, located predominantly in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
