Kodiak Building Partners has signed a definitive agreement under which Kodiak will acquire American Builders Supply based in Orlando, Florida. The transaction is expected to close in the 4Q 2017, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Mark Garboski, ABS Chief Operating Officer, will lead the operation for Kodiak.
Steve Swinney, Kodiak CEO, commented, “This transaction represents our entry into the Southeastern United States, a strong, long-term growth market for building products. American Builders Supply is a market leader in the growing Florida market serving homebuilders across the state with truss, millwork, windows, doors, lumber and related products.
