The Kyiv cardboard and paper plant, the major producer of paper and cardboard products in Ukraine, has installed an automatic quality and management control system at the coated board production, a representative of the plant has told Ukrainian News.
The representative also said that installation of this system, which will improve the quality of the products, is the second stage of reconstruction of the coated board production.
The plant has already invested about USD 2 million in its reconstruction.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the plant increased output by 11.5% or UAH 37.076 million compared with 2001, to UAH 360.715 million in 2002.
