NLK Domostroenie presented new wooden suburban house brand, Timberkom

NLK Domostroenie company presented new wooden suburban house brand, Timberkom, developed with taking into account changed market situation, as reported by the company’s press service. The new series includes 10 house projects made of glued and shaped laminated lumber with a square of 42 to 169 sq m. According to market requirements, Timberkom houses are made of lumber of different sizes, including two developed specially for this series, with a width of 82 and 125 mm. As said in the release, a 70 sq m suburban house can be assembled by the customer on the ready groundwork in 7 to 10 days. The house kit includes walls made of glued laminated lumber, flooring, roof, preliminary floor, finishing materials, doorsteps elements, windows with glass units, door units, ceiling coating, finished floor board, skirting, window trimmers, windowsills and staircase for houses with attics. ‘When making a decision on our launch on the mass market, we took into account the fact that today it is the most capacious sector which will become the base for a new market’, commented NLK Domostroenie General Director Semen Goglev adding that the future development of the brand is planned in three directions: houses built with glued laminated lumber, frame-panel houses and timber frame houses. NLK Domostroenie is a major supplier of wooden houses made of glued laminated lumber. The company’s production base is located at Sokol woodworking plant. Since 2007, NLK Domostroenie and Sokol woodworking plant are parts of Investlesprom Holding, the largest one in Russian forest industry. In 2008, the company produced 195 houses.
