In addition to paper manufacturing, the mandate suspends textile printing and dyeing, cement, mining, construction and chemical manufacturing. The purpose of the directive is to minimize air pollution during the International Association of Athletics Federations World Championship Games and the military parade commemorating the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II to be held in Beijing.
The temporary suspension of production will not impact the Company's tissue paper operations, which are located in the Economic Development Zone of Wei County, Hebei Province, outside Beijing.
Production of impacted products will resume on September 5, 2015.
