PEMCO AS has completed the sale of Peterson Packaging, the largest independent corrugated packaging provider in Scandinavia, to VPK. Pöyry Capital acted as financial adviser to PEMCO.
Peterson Packaging manufactures corrugated packaging, Point-of-Sale solutions and corrugated sheets for Scandinavian FMCG and industrial clients. In 2015 Peterson achieved a turnover of Euro 150 million and had approximately 800 employees.
With the acquisition, VPK, one of the most successful integrated packaging companies in Europe, continues to deliver on its growth strategy in the corrugated packaging sector and has now gained an important manufacturing footprint in the Scandinavia corrugated packaging market.
