Russian Onezhsky tractor plant to supply 60 forest fire-extinguishing tractors worth RUR 138 million to Russian Ministry of emergency situations

Russian Onezhsky tractor plant (Karelia Republic) intends to supply 60 LHT-100 fire-extinguishing tractors worth RUR 138 million to the Ministry of emergency situations, corporate spokesperson told Lesprom.ru. LHT-100 is meant for forest fires extinguishing. The machine is equipped with reservoirs for water and chemicals. Additional equipment can also be installed on the machine. The tractors will be supplied in line with the ministerial order to Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Arkhangelsk and Leningrad region. Onezhsky is a major regional tractor manufacturer (timber-felling tractors, timber industry tractors, specialized tractors and machines for other related service). Onezhsky majority stake is owned by Tractor Plants concern.
