May 13, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Titan reported timber production up 4,5% to 655,9 thousand cub m within 4 months in 2004 compared with the prior period in 2003. Timber production using imported timber-felling equipment increased 2,3 times to 290,9 thousand cub m. The timber produced using the new technologies accounted for 44% of the total amount. Saw logs production declined 3,8% to 20,1 thousand cub m, down 13% in April to 43,9 thousand cub m.
