Russia's Modern Lumber Technologies to supply LVL to customers in France, Romania, and Denmark in 2018

Russian wooden construction materials producer Modern Lumber Technologies Ltd (MLT Ltd.) has agreed to supply LVL beam to France, Romania, and Denmark in 2018, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

MLT Ltd. contracted with the following companies: ISB France (France, 4,000 cubic metres per year, Euro 2 million), Laprom Trading (Romania, 5,000 cubic metres per year, Euro 2.5 million), Wennerth Wood Trading ApS (Denmark, 6,000 cubic metres per year, Euro 3 million). The total sum of the signed contracts equals to Euro 7.5 million. Within 2018 the Russian company will supply its partners with 15,000 cubic metres of LVL beam.


"Russian companies are actively adopting new technology, and offer their partners modern solutions. The contracts that were signed on the very first day of our work at the exhibition state the tangible expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Russian and EU companies. I am sure, such agreements will provide further impetus to the Russian forest industry development," says Viktor Evtukhov, State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation.
