Sabah's, Malaysia, sawnwood exports were 56,885 cubic metres in the first four months of the year and valued at RM 109 million ($27 million). Over the same period last year, Sabah exported 77,953 cubic metres of sawnwood valued at RM 130.8 million ($32.5 million), ITTO reported.
In the period January to April 2016, Sabah exported 187,180 cubic metres of plywood valued at RM 359.2 million ($89.2 million) compared to the 192,690 cubic metres valued at RM 336.4 million ($83.6 million) exported in the same period in 2015.
