Jun 09, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Scott Pallets has appointed David Lee as Director – Manufacturing Division, to oversee the growth of the new pallet business across the UK, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Alan Gibson, Scott Pallets Managing Director, said: “This is a key appointment for the Group, Dave’s extensive supply-chain, logistics and manufacturing experience bolsters the senior management team and it will undoubtedly strengthen our new pallet business through improvements to efficiency, customer service and product range, and enable us to focus on expanding across the UK in new locations and new markets to bring our customers the best pallet solutions for their business.”

He said: “Scott Pallets has a well-established reputation as the market leader, continually innovating and bringing new, sustainable solutions to the market for its customers. Joining a business that has such ambition and vision for growth is exciting, and I’m looking forward to being part of the team that takes the business to its next stage of growth.”

Lee has also been joined by two further appointments at site level: John Spindley as Area Manager for York, and Richard Slaughter as Site Manager for Huntingdon. These three integral roles will further bolster the senior management in the Group’s new pallet manufacturing business and see Gavin Wallace, formerly Regional General Manager, take on the more senior role of Operations Manager for all seven of the Group’s new pallet manufacturing sites across the UK.
