Seneca Sawmill Company has hired Cameron Krauss as its new Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs. In this role, Krauss will oversee all legal and public policy matters for the Seneca Family of Companies.
“Cameron is a seasoned leader with a solid background in legal affairs, both business and regulatory, and also has extensive experience in the policy arena,” said Todd Payne, CEO of Seneca.
Cameron Krauss was raised in the industry and joins Seneca after spending over a decade with another local forest products company serving in a similar role. Along with handling Seneca’s day-to-day legal activities, he will continue to play a major role working in the natural resource community. He has served on several industry association boards and is currently both the Chairman and the Legal Chair of the American Forest Resource Council.
Krauss succeeds Dale Riddle who is transitioning into retirement after a long and distinguished career at Seneca. Dale will continue working on special projects through the balance of this year.
Seneca Sawmill Company is one of the largest producing single-location sawmills in the United States.
