Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood decreased by 21% in February

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in February 2018 was worth Euro 3.2 million, which is almost 54% less than in the previous month, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 54%, of other industrial roundwood by 56%, of pulpwood by about 48% and of wood fuel by almost 61%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in February 2018 was almost 21% lower than in February 2017, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood. The value of purchased pulpwood was lower by almost 36%, of sawlogs and veneer logs by about 21% and of other industrial roundwood by 25%. On the other hand, the value of purchased wood fuel was 33% higher than in February 2017.
