Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood decreased by 5% in April

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2017 was worth Euro 5.4 million, which is more than 12% less than in the previous month (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by 13%, of pulpwood by 11% and of wood fuel by about 22%. The value of purchased other industrial roundwood was higher by 9%.
The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2017 was about 5% lower than in April 2016, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 8% and of wood fuel by 13%. The value of purchased pulpwood and of other industrial roundwood was higher by about 6% and 110%, respectively.
