Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in February 2017 was worth Euro 4.1 million, which is more than 21% less than in the previous month (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The value of purchased
sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by almost 22% and of pulpwood by 4%. The
value of purchased other industrial roundwood was lower by about 19% and of
wood fuel by about 51%.
The value of roundwood purchased from private
owners in February 2017 was about 9% higher than in February 2016, mainly due
to the higher quantity of purchased wood.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 16% andof pulpwood by 9%, while the value of purchased wood fuel and of other industrial roundwood was lower by about 50% and 24%, respectively.
