Slovenia's value of roundwood purchased from private owners in March 2016 was Euro 3.9 million, which is about 4% more than in the previous month (mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased roundwood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The value of purchased
sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by 7%, while the value of purchased wood
fuel was lower by almost 14%. Lower was also the value of purchased pulpwood
and of other industrial roundwood (by about 2% and 5%, respectively).
The value of roundwood purchased from private
owners in March 2016 was almost 4% lower than in March 2015, mainly due to the
lower quantity of purchased wood.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 4%, while the value of purchase in other categories of roundwood was lower than a year ago.
