The Board also re-elected Tami Kessler as Executive Director, and elected Scott Vande Linde of West Fraser to serve as Immediate Past Chairman. The officers assume their new roles immediately.
“I look forward to continuing the legacy of this association, working with the excellent staff at SFPA,” Chairman Almond said. “Our association is a strong voice in the industry, and I hope to build on that strength as we continue activities through the coming year,” he added.
Southern Forest Products Association is recognized as one of the foremost trade organizations in the forest products industry and represents Southern Pine lumber manufacturers from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
