Swedish sawlog prices (delivery logs) rose by 1% in the 3Q 2016 compared with the previous quarter. The comparison of sawlog prices in 3Q 2016 and the same quarter of 2015, shows falling prices by 2%, as Swedish Forest Agency reports.
Pulpwood prices fell by 1% in the 3Q 2016 compared with the previous quarter. Prices rose slightly in the regions North and South but declined in the Central region. A comparison of pulpwood prices from the 3Q 2016 and the same quarter of 2015, shows unchanged prices for the entire country. In region North prices rose by 7% and fell in the Central region.
