Tembec increased 1Q sales to $370 million

Tembec's consolidated sales for the three-month period ended December 24, 2016, were $370 million, as compared to $354 million in the same quarter a year ago, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network .

The Company generated a net loss of $9 million or $0.09 per share in the December 2016 quarter compared to a net loss of $28 million or $0.28 per share in the December 2015 quarter. The December 2016 quarter included a non-cash loss of $16 million related to the translation of US dollar denominated debt.
