Välinge places order for new production line from Dieffenbacher

Jan 18, 2016. /Lesprom Network/. Välinge has placed an order for a new short cycle process line from Dieffenbacher (Zaisenhausen) as a response to the growing market demand for its powder-based products. The line will be commissioned by the end of 2016 and production is scheduled to start during the 1Q 2017, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The new 150-meter long process line from Dieffenbacher has been designed for 80 bar (8N/mm2) and to be very flexible with multiple part-process units including an integrated digital printer.

It will have the capacity to produce the entire Välinge powder technology range which consists of products that combine powder and/or thin wood sheet in different ways on their decors and back-sides as well as other material combinations. A few product examples are Nadura®, Woodura® and BAP (Binder And Powder) digital print technology.

The collaboration between Välinge and Dieffenbacher (Zaisenhausen) started a few years ago. During this period, the two companies have jointly developed equipment that have been adapted to Välinge’s powder technology. The new line will primarily be used for production of existing powder-based products, but also for development of new products.
