Weekes Forest Products acquires Snavely Forest Products. The transaction is expected to close early in 1Q 2018, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The footprint of the Snavely distribution centers is a perfect extension to our own with zero overlap. Combined, Snavely and Weekes will service 17 states with lumber and building materials,” Tom Le Vere, President of Weekes Forest Products, commented.
Weekes intends to maintain the Snavely name and quality image going forward.
Weekes Forest Products is an employee owned (ESOP) company based in St. Paul, MN that distributes lumber and building materials including commodity and specialty lumber, panel products, engineered wood products, siding, decking, fencing, roofing and industrial products.
Snavely Forest Products operates five distribution centers. Snavely specializes in engineered wood products, decking, cladding materials, building envelope and pine products.
