Gelo Timber starts operation at its new sawmill in Wunsiedel, Germany One of the most modern sawmills for small diameter logs, Gelo Timber in Wunsiedel, Germany, starts its operation after only 11 months of erection time. In future 350,000 solid m3 logs are cut per year at the 100,000 m2 area. 35 new jobs are created with this investment of about Euro 40 million.

Best Wood Schneider GmbH to build new sawmill in Germany The medium-sized company Best Wood Schneider GmbH is planning to build a new production plant for about Euro 80 million, which will increase the production of sawb timber to 200,000 m3 and of plank plywood to 100,000 m3 per year. Schneider ordered the log yard mechanisation from Holtec.
