Fabryki Mebli “Forte” S.A. expands board production at its particleboard plant in Suwalki, Poland

Siempelkamp installation team announced the production readiness of the single-source turnkey plant for particleboard of Fabryki Mebli “Forte” S.A. in Suwalki, Poland. That meant that the plant was put into operation one-and-a-half months before the contractually agreed February 2018 date, as Siempelkamp said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Since the installation start in the beginning of May 2017, the Siempelkamp installation team scored by meeting the extremely tight deadlines and prematurely completing project milestones. The Siempelkamp subsidiary Büttner installed its turnkey systems consisting of a 49.9 MW en-ergy plant and a drum dryer with a drying capacity of 42.4 t/h bone dry two months ahead of time in November 2017. The plant’s installation start, which had to be delayed due to permit reasons, was thus compensated for.

The entire finishing line of the plant consisting of a diagonal saw, a cooling and stacking line, an automated storage system, as well as the sanding line was completed by the Siempelkamp team in November 2017. With the new particleboard plant in Suwalki including the continuous forming and press line with ContiRoll® press, Fabryki Mebli “Forte” S.A. went into production ahead of time and is expanding its production by 1500 cubic metres of particleboard per day.
