The costs of the main raw materials as well as freight, energy, packaging and other primary products used in the manufacturing of the Felix Schoeller Group's papers are continuing to rise sharply. To counteract these cost increases, the specialty paper manufacturer is raising its sales prices by up to 15% from 1st June 2021, depending on the product type and region.
"The current cost explosion significantly exceeds the scope of our last price adjustment. We therefore unfortunately feel compelled to implement another price increase in the market," said Hans-Christoph Gallenkamp, CEO of the Felix Schoeller Group.
